Ingredients 1 to 10 are soaked in 2 litres of water overnight and 670 ml of decoction is prepared next morning. Qand Safayd is added to the decoction and boiled to the required consistency. Then Khamīra is prepared as usual.
Muqawwī-i-‘Ām (generaltonic), Muqawwī-i-Qalb (cardiactonic), Mufarriḥ (ehxilarant), Muqawwī-i-Baṣar (eye tonic)
NOTE:
• Faranjmushk occurring in the original formula is substituted by Tukhm-i-Rayḥān.
Useful in Ḍu‘f-i-Qalb (cardiac asthenia), Ḍu‘f-i-Dimāgh (cerebral asthenia), Ḍu‘f-i-Baṣārat (diminished vision), Khafaqān (palpitation), Mālankhūliyā (melancholia), Waswās (obsession)
6 to 12 g with ‘Araq-i-Gāozabāṉ.
