Useful in sarsām (meningitis), Waram-i-Mafāṣil (arthritis), Waja‘-al-Asnān(toothache), Quruḥ-al-Me‘da wa Am‘ā’ (gastric ulcer), Suda’-i-Muzmin (chronic headache), Qabḍ (constipation), Zaḥīr (dysentery)
For Waram-i-Mafāṣil and Suda̒-i-Muzmin (chronic headache) it is used extenally. For constipation, 12 ml of the oil is mixed with 120 ml of water and used orally.
